Saint Patrick Catholic Church Agulu, in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, has commended the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District at the Upper Legislative Chamber of the National Assembly (Senate) Abuja, Senator Victor Umeh, for his continue commitment towards the development of the district.
They argue that Umeh’s ongoing Constituency projects across the seven local government areas that constitute the district, compromises Awka North, Awka South, Idemili North, Idemili South, Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia is a huge proof that the Senator is a God send to the district.
Umeh received the commendation during the officially launching of Ultra-modern Science Laboratory Equipments and School bus for St. Albert The Great College Agulu, owned by the Catholic Diocese of Awka, held at the Church field, on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026.

They described Umeh as a God send to the district, praising that since he emergence in 2023, the district has witnessed unprecedented development across sectors of human existence.
They promised to continue to assist him in prayers to enable him actualize his vision and mission for the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District.
They also highlighted some of Umeh’s contributions to the grow and development of the school, which include, donation of classroom blocks, payment of school fees for indigents students, empowerment of vulnerable members of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and other numerous executed projects across the Senatorial District.
The Archbishop of Awka Catholic Diocese, His Lordship, Most Rev Dr Paulinus Ezeokafor, in his remark, thanked Senator Umeh for honouring the invitation, assuring him of more God’s grace in his political journey.
Ezeokafor urged other well-to-do individuals in the society to emulate Umeh’s commitment towards God work.
