The Governor highlighted that the future of generations to come is currently at stake, stressing that the movement must operate with a clear understanding of their role in coordinating for Anambra State, offered a sobering reflection, expressing his desire that Ndi Igbo avoid wasting their votes in future electoral cycles.

Addressing the political landscape, Governor Soludo remarked that the movement must begin to play politics with their heads, stated that in politics, individuals do not receive what they deserve, but rather what they bargain for, noting that in a democracy, the primary currency for that bargain is the vote.

He posed a pointed question to the coordinators regarding their bargaining power, urging them to mobilize resources and strategize effectively.

Reflecting on the previous election cycle, the Governor noted that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu secured victory without significant support from the Southeast, tasked the women to mobilize effectively to ensure a successful second term for the President and emphasized that their objective in politics should be to maximize benefits for the society.

Concluding his address, Governor Soludo pledged his absolute and total support to the group, affirming that they have a significant role to play and that he will back their initiatives to the best of his ability.

Speaking earlier on behalf of the group, the Women Coordinator of the Anambra State Chapter, Mrs. Adaora Soludo, emphasized that the movement’s primary objective remains the active promotion and support of the Tinubu-led administration, pointing out that the group is strategically positioned to serve as a bridge between the government and the people, ensuring that the administration’s developmental policies are understood and felt at the local level.

The event, which was also attended by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, Mayor of Idemili South Local Government Area, Mrs Amaka Obi, among others, served as a platform for the group—a support base dedicated to the Tinubu-led administration—to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening their efforts and deepening their impact.
