According to him, the outcome of the primary election reflects the collective aspiration of the people for a leadership founded on resilience, justice, and equitable representation.

“The people have spoken. In that clarity, I have come to understand something that transcends the moment: you have not simply voted for a candidate. You have voted for three principles that form the foundation of who we are and what we stand for as a people: resilience, justice, and representation,” he stated.

Dr. Tawo noted that these principles are not mere political catchphrases but values deeply rooted in the daily experiences and struggles of the people of Obubra and Etung.

He commended party leaders, grassroots mobilizers, community stakeholders, and supporters who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the primary election process, describing their commitment as the driving force behind the victory.

The NDC flag bearer emphasized that the victory belongs to every resident of the federal constituency and serves as a renewed call to collective action toward a brighter future.

He pledged to remain focused on advancing policies and initiatives that will improve the welfare, livelihood, and economic prospects of the people if elected into the National Assembly.

Dr. Tawo assured constituents that their voices would remain at the center of his legislative agenda, stressing that representation must translate into tangible benefits and development for communities across Obubra and Etung.

The House of Representatives hopeful further assured supporters that the primary victory marks the beginning of a broader movement aimed at securing quality representation, attracting development opportunities, and protecting the interests of the constituency at the federal level.
