The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of John Zobis Group, makers of Zobis Electrical Wires and Cables Mr Jonn Ezeobi, has promised to create over 22000 jobs for Unemployed Nigerians.
Ezeobi made the promised after receiving the 2026 Manufacturer Man of the Year Award, organized by a group known as “Anambra Man of The Year Award (AMTY), held at the Stanel conference center in Awka on Saturday, July 18th, 2026.
He said the proposed job opportunities basically on electrical is part of the company’s contribution to Nation’s development.

According to him, the young Nigeria entrepreneurs are fully prepared and ready to take over the industrialization sector of the country from International communities, especially from the Chinese industrialists.
“We are ready to say no to Chinese using Nigeria as a dumping ground, which is the reason why people like us are proudly coming out to said no to such act, hence, Zobis Electrical is now making a bold step introduce a new industrial city in Anambra State that is going to provide more than 22,000 job opportunities for unemployed Nigerians in irrespective of tribe, ethnic and religion affiliations.
“Zobis is ready to produce more than 52 different electrical devices in Nigeria and the land in question has been officially bought, procure and ready for business, Ezeobi stated.
He passionately appealed for Nigeria politicians to desist from patronising made in China products.
In their join remarks, the both conveners of AMTY, Comrade Chinedu Okafor and Chief Chikezie Chiedu, appreciated the awardees for being physically present to receive their awards by themselves instead of sending representatives to receive the awards on their behalf.
They noted that the idea behind the awards was not driven by any form of material gains,rather it was driven by the need to encourage the sons and daughters of Anambra State,who are captains of industry to start bringing their businesses home.
It was gathered that the award ceremony witnessed the presentation of different categories of awards to sons and daughters of Anambra State,who had distinguished themselves in different fields of endeavours, such as energy, manufacturing, logistics, business and academia.
