The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (Unizik) Awka, Anambra State, has appointed the Special Adviser to governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo on Youth Reformation, Dr Nelson Obinna Omenugha as Member, Board of Trustees, Directorate of Entrepreneurship of the Varsity.
According to Omenugha, who disclosed this in a statement in Awka on Friday, the appointment was conveyed to him by the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bond Ugochukwu Anyaehie.
The statement read in part, “I am honoured to announce my appointment as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Directorate of Entrepreneurship, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, (UNIZIK).

“Conveyed by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bond Ugochukwu Anyaehie, the appointment is a recognition of my contributions to entrepreneurship, youth development, innovation and economic growth.
“I receive it with humility and as a call to greater responsibility.
“I sincerely appreciate the Vice-Chancellor and the management of UNIZIK for the confidence reposed in me.
“I am equally grateful to my Principal, Mr Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for the opportunity and platform to serve. I deeply value his trust, leadership and commitment to creating opportunities for young people to realise their potential.
“I look forward to working with the Board and the Directorate to advance entrepreneurship education, foster innovation, strengthen enterprise development and create sustainable opportunities for young people,” Omenugha concluded.
