Christ for All Nations (CfaN), the international evangelistic ministry founded by the late German-American evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, has selected Calabar, the capital of Cross River State, to host its 2026 gospel crusade.
The four-day Calabar Great Gospel Crusade 2026 is scheduled to take place from November 12 to 15, 2026.
Announcing the event at a press briefing in Calabar on Monday, the Executive Africa Director of CfaN, Rev. John Darku, described the choice of Cross River as a “divine appointment” and stated that the ministry is coming with a clear mandate to strengthen the Church and lead thousands into the Christian faith.

Darku emphasized the significance of choosing Calabar over the other 35 states in Nigeria, highlighting that the city is poised to witness a major demonstration of divine power.
“This is not merely a religious gathering. It is a divine appointment with the State of Cross River, with Nigeria and with the nations of the earth,” Darku said.
He expressed confidence that the crusade would yield salvation for souls, healing for the sick, deliverance for the oppressed, and a widespread spiritual revival across local churches. Clarifying CfaN’s mission, Darku stressed that the ministry does not aim to compete with existing local churches, but rather to complement them by integrating converts into local congregations for long-term growth.
“Every soul won at this crusade will be committed into local churches for discipleship and growth,” Darku affirmed, noting that the outreach expects to leave local congregations revitalized and re-energized for evangelism.
Beyond its spiritual dimensions, Darku highlighted the potential economic impact of the four-day gathering on Calabar. The anticipated influx of visitors is projected to boost patronage across hospitality and informal business sectors, directly benefiting hotels, restaurants, transport operators, traders, and artisans.
He further noted that spiritual transformation fosters social cohesion and peace, observing that a gospel-transformed populace is generally more tolerant and resistant to political, ethnic, and religious divisions.
On the topic of prosperity, he stated that sustainable prosperity begins with renewed mindsets and individuals equipped to contribute meaningfully to society, though he reiterated that the crusade’s primary goal remains the salvation of souls and reconciliation with God.
CfaN President, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, will serve as the primary minister during the crusade. Darku identified Kolenda as the successor to Bonnke’s evangelistic legacy, noting that Kolenda has carried forward CfaN’s global mission following the passing of Bonnke, whose massive crusades drew millions of worshippers across Africa.
Speaking earlier at the briefing, the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Apostle Amb. Trinity Ogar, urged residents and Christians throughout Cross River State to clear their schedules for November 12 to 15. Ogar noted that the prominent turnout of senior church leaders at the press conference reflected the unified support of the local Christian community. He shared high expectations for a “massive harvest” of souls alongside healing and spiritual revival across the state.
Organizers concluded the briefing by calling on media organizations, including newspapers, radio, television, and digital platforms, to actively partner with the ministry to build awareness and mobilize residents ahead of the November event.
