The Anambra State Women Leader of the City Boy Movement, Ifeatu Adaora Soludo, has engaged local government women coordinators of the group and their deputies across the 21 local government areas of the state as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
During the meeting, Adaora Soludo emphasised the importance of commitment and strategic coordination, noting that the movement’s agenda is time-bound and requires a high level of dedication from members.
In a statement issued to journalists in Awka on Tuesday by a media aide to the governor, Charles Soludo, Mr Daniel Ezeigwe, she described women as central to the success of the political support group’s objectives.

According to the statement, she met with the women on Monday and commended their passion and dedication to the movement’s goals.
The statement read in part, “I had an engaging and productive session yesterday with the City Boy Local Government Women Coordinators and their deputies across the 21 LGAs of Anambra State.
“During our conversation, I explained to them that the agenda at hand is one with a deadline, and we must show strong commitment to achieving nothing short of excellence.
“Women are the backbone of this mission, and I am deeply inspired by the passion, dedication, and energy demonstrated by this remarkable group.”
Soludo further noted that the City Boy Movement is anchored on strategic progressivism and expressed optimism about the role of women in advancing its objectives.
“I am proud to lead Anambra women on this important journey. History awaits. It is indeed City Boy season,” she added.
