Google Pixel 8 rendering exposure: 5.8-inch straight screen, positioning compact flagship

Google is about to launch the Pixel 8 series flagship mobile phone, after the official rendering of Pixel 8 Pro was exposed, now the rendering of Pixel 8 has also been exposed.

It was reported that the two phones will be officially released at the Google I/O 2023 conference on May 10 this year.

These renderings are from OnLeaks and MySmartPrice12, and from the renders, the Pixel 8 doesn’t look like a huge change from its predecessor, but the most obvious difference is that the new phone has a more rounded shape rather than a phone like its predecessor. So square.

Compared to its big brother, the Pixel 8 Pro, the Pixel 8 is rounder and has one less PDAF sensor below the flash. If you think this phone is small, it’s because its screen is only 5.8 inches, which can be regarded as a compact phone.

The thickness of the phone is not too thick. Another good news is that the screen is straight, so it is more convenient to install the screen protector, and there will be no accidental touch.

It was noticed that another change is that there are only two cameras on the back of the Pixel 8, instead of three cameras like the big brother Pro, which is expected to be a combination of an ultra-wide-angle and a main camera.

Aside from these changes, the Pixel 8 is almost identical to its big brother, with the Tensor G3 chip and Android 14 pre-installed.
