According to 9to5Google, Android Police and other media reports, users of Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro reported that there is a bug in the Camera app, and it is impossible to perform close-ups or micro distance to take pictures.
According to a video shared by Reddit user /u/MintySkyhawk, the Pixel 7 Pro was unable to save the image to the device’s memory after pressing the shutter with the flash enabled when trying to take a photo of the chassis.

IT House learned from reports that this situation is not an isolated case. Another Reddit community netizen can reproduce this problem by shooting jeans with a 5x zoom with the flash turned on. Pixel phones refuse to save photos taken under these conditions.
The Android Police media reproduced this problem on multiple Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in the team. The system is the latest version of Android 13 QPR2 and Android 14 DP2, and the Camera application is the latest version 18.104.22.1684820638.44.
