Met Gala 2023: Brits Florence Pugh, Naomi Campbell and more attend

Always taking place on the first Monday of May, the Met Gala is the Costume Institute Benefit in aid of charity at the  Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. 

Hosted by Vogue and the Met Museum, this year saw stars fit the theme of legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld who was best known for his work as the creative director of Chanel and Fendi.

Stars from across the globe took to New York City to attend the exclusive event, including a handful of lucky Brits who wowed the crowd in their impressive looks.

Oxford-born actress Florence Pugh wowed after premiering a new bold buzz cut and impressive feathered headpiece, wearing a dramatic black and white Valentino gown.
