Diemit, a developer of the self-taught open-source Hongmeng OpenHarmony, recently announced at station B that he had successfully ported the OpenHarmony system to the Mi 6 mobile phone, and continued to share the progress of the adaptation.

On March 10, Diemit announced that it has successfully opened up HDC for Mi 6 , and has been able to connect the mobile phone to the computer for debugging, and posted a test of the simple development of the open source Hongmeng App.

The developer also released  the OpenHarmony rich device porting guide to share the experience of porting Raspberry Pi 4b and Mi 6 to OpenHarmony. It is necessary to confirm that the ported device can be unlocked and flashed; the device has a third-party recovery similar to TWRP to facilitate flashing; the OpenHarmony kernel So far, it is based on the standard Linux5.10 kernel, and 4.19 is no longer supported. When transplanting, the device needs to have the kernel source code of 5.10 or above; confirm that the device driver source code and firmware can be obtained, etc.
