Microsoft is gradually releasing the limit on the number of chat sessions for the New Bing chatbot.
Today, Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s corporate vice president and consumer chief marketing officer, said the daily chat limit has been expanded from 120 to 150. The round limit per session has also been changed from 10 to 15, he added.
In addition, Mehdi also said that the Bing team is making adjustments to the “balanced mode” to improve performance to shorten response time and speed up response; while the Precise & Creative mode remains unchanged and will continue to provide users with a diverse experience.
What is the new Bing?
The new Bing is like having a research assistant, personal planner, and creative partner by your side as you search the web. With this set of AI-powered features, you can:
Ask your actual questions. When you ask complex questions, Bing provides detailed responses.
Get actual answers. Bing looks up search results on the web and gives you aggregated answers.

In the chat experience, you can also chat and ask follow-up questions, such as, “Can you explain in simpler terms,” or “Give me more options,” to get different and even more detailed answers in Search.
How is it different from regular search engines?
The new Bing builds on the existing Bing experience to give you new types of searches.
In addition to generating a list of relevant links, Bing also aggregates reliable web sources to provide you with an aggregated answer.
Search by the way you speak, write and think. Bing accepts compound searches and shares detailed responses.
In the chat experience, you can chat naturally and ask follow-up questions on top of your initial search to get personalized responses.
Bing can be used as a creative tool. It can help you write poems, stories and even share ideas about projects.
How to access the new Bing?
You can request access by selecting “Join Waitlist”. When you’ve been selected, you’ll receive an email letting you know you can access the new Bing on Bing.com, and you can start typing in the common search box. The new Bing is also available in the chat experience, at the top of the search results.
