MSU baseball makes trip to Auburn, looking to make up more ground

Coach Chris Lemonis’ team ended an 18-game losing streak in Southeastern Conference play when they took out their frustrations on South Carolina in a 13-3 run-rule win on March 31. State lost that series, but MSU found something that weekend.

Counting that Friday night win, the Bulldogs have been victorious in seven of the last 10 games. MSU has won back-to-back series, including the recent two-game win over rival Ole Miss last week. It’s brought the Bulldogs back into the conversation of NCAA Tournament play.
