Patriots use power to defeat Vols in baseball
Starkville Academy recognized senior baseball players Wyatt Johnson (34), Justin Ming (18), Jackson Redmond (7) and Drew Williams (13) on Tuesday for their contributions to the program.
That’s what Starkville Academy head baseball coach Thomas Berkery felt led to do after Heritage Academy came to Volunteer Field on Tuesday night and won a 10-0 decision in five innings.
The visiting Patriots hit four home runs off Starkville Academy ace Drew Williams and Heritage pitcher Jack Ketchum shut down the Volunteer offense.
