SEC softball to honor memory of MSU's Wilcox on Saturday
It will be a day to honor the legacy of former Mississippi State player Alex Wilcox, who lost her battle to ovarian cancer in the summer of 2018.
The Bulldogs have continued to remember the impact Wilcox had on their lives with the #NoOneFightsAlone campaign by often wearing teal for midweek games and having special emphasis in her memory like The Snowman tournament early in the season.
MSU head coach Samantha Ricketts is glad to see the SEC joining in their quest of recognizing Wilcox’s impact on the softball community nationwide and in the fight against ovarian cancer.
