Shenzhen Legoland Resort officially started construction in Dapeng New District on August 26, 2021, covering an area of ​​580,000 square meters. It has 1 theme park, 1 water park and 3 themed hotels, with a total investment of over 7 billion yuan.

The project is exclusively operated by the British Merlin Entertainments Group. After completion, it will become the first international IP parent-child family entertainment theme park resort in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
