Orogbu who according to report has empowered thousands of Awka North and South indigenes including Unizik staff and students in various vocational skills, revealed that the essence of the sharing was in continuation of her efforts in ensuring that food scarcity, which has taken its toll on Nigerians did not significantly affect the University community.
She appealed to the University community to vote for all NDC candidates including Mr Peter Obi for President, Senator Victor Umeh (Anambra Central Senatorial District), herself for Awka North/South Federal Constituency and Barrister Obinna Ogugua for Awka South 1 State Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting was also attended by Senator Victor Umeh, NDC supporters across the state and thousands of Unizik staff and students respectively.
