Alpha Morgan Bank has strengthened its commitment to education and institutional development with its support for the commissioning of the Redeemer’s University Business School in Ogun State.
The facility was officially inaugurated on Thursday, 2 April 2026, at a ceremony led by Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye. The event drew prominent dignitaries, including former First Lady Mrs. Bola Obasanjo, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shadrach Olufemi Akindele.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Managing Director of Alpha Morgan Bank reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to advancing education and national growth. He stated that the bank remains committed to supporting academic institutions that foster intellectual development and prepare future leaders.
“The Bank is focused on initiatives that promote knowledge, innovation and sustainable development,” he said, noting that partnerships with educational institutions remain a strategic priority.
The commissioning of the business school marks a significant milestone for Redeemer’s University, aimed at enhancing business education and leadership training in Nigeria. University authorities described the project as part of broader efforts to position the institution as a hub for academic excellence and professional development.
In further demonstration of its thought leadership agenda, Alpha Morgan Bank announced plans to host its Economic Review Webinar in May 2026. The event is expected to convene experts across sectors to discuss emerging economic trends, policy directions and investment opportunities.
The bank’s involvement in the project underscores its ongoing role in supporting initiatives that contribute to human capital development and the growth of Nigeria’s knowledge economy.
