The Anambra State Police Command has advised parents especially, young mothers to always protect their children and reject get-rich-quick schemes.
The Command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga disclosed this in a statement he signed and made available to journalists in Awka, on Friday.
The statement read; “The Anambra State Police Command, following the recent investigation involving a 36-year-old woman in Onitsha and the rescue of four children, is using the opportunity to remind parents, particularly young mothers, that no financial difficulty, social pressure or promise of quick wealth should ever place a child at risk of exploitation or abuse.

“The Command recognises that raising children, particularly as a young or single mother, can come with serious economic and social challenges. However, parents are encouraged to seek legitimate means of livelihood and appropriate support rather than accepting arrangements that expose their children to exploitation, sexual abuse, trafficking, pornography or other forms of harm.
“Reject the Get-Rich-Quick Syndrome
“Your child’s safety must never become the price of financial survival.
“You do not have to sacrifice your child’s safety to survive.
“Protect the child. Reject exploitation. Reject get-rich-quick schemes. Choose legitimate livelihood.”
