Receiving the communication, the Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the University Management, Senate, Staff and Students, expressed profound gratitude to Mr. Governor, describing him as a dependable leader whose word is his bond, following his earlier assurances on the matter.

In the same vein, she appreciated the leadership and members of the labour unions in the University for their understanding and for adopting a responsible approach in their engagement with the University Management and Council, which has ultimately led to an amicable and productive outcome without resorting to the usual industrial action that destabilizes the University community.

She further assured the Anambra State Government that the University community will reciprocate this landmark gesture by redoubling its efforts towards placing Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University on the global map of excellence.
