Ahead of 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives aspirant for Anambra East/West Federal constituency of Anambra State, Hon Patrick Obalim Udoba, popularly known as “Ezego-Anami,” has called for the cancellation of the process in eleven wards in Anambra East Local Government Area of the State, over alleged result sheet snatching by suspect hoodlums.

Odoba made the called while speaking to Journalists at his Ngozika housing estate residence in Awka, on Sunday afternoon.

“I am very sad we the way and manner the primaries was conducted in Anambra East local government where the state chairman of the party, Senator Emmanuel Anosike hail from.

“Anambra East has 15 wards, and out of the 15, 11 where snatched why the remaining four are intact. I want the election committee to cancel the eleven wards or alternatively, they should count the four wards transparently to prove my point.

“The suspected hoodlums invaded the secretariat and made away with the result sheet of the eleven violently.

“I am contesting the race alongside two other, Mr Henry Udoh and Lady Ifeoma Chukwuma.

“The situation is a bad omen for APC in Anambra State, especially, at this critical time when the party is struggling to secure at least 6-7 seat at the green chamber of the National Assembly (House of Representative), amidst pressure from the State ruling-All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, Nigeria Democratic Congress NDC and the African Democratic Congress ADC, Odoba lamented.

The aspirant is a current serving member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, representing Anambra West State Constituency.
