The All Progressives Grrand Alliance, APGA, has declared Prince Chukwudi Oli as winner of its House of Representatives primaries for Njikoka/Dunukofia and Anaocha Federal Constituency in Anambra State ahead of the January 16th, 2027 general elections.
The party’s returning officer for the constituency primary election, held on May 23rd, 2026, Mazi Ejimofor Opara (PhD), announced the results at the Njikoka local government headquarters Abagana, on Tuesday night.
He declared Oli, a prominent legal practitioner winner of the primary election after polling 10, 566 votes, defeating other co-contesters, Hon Udoji Samuel Chike- 14 votes, Hon Tochukwu John-2, 257 votes, Mr Oha Nnaemeka Chisom -3, 418 votes and Hon Okoye Charles with 24 votes respectively bringing the total number of votes cast to 16, 742.

Opara said Prince Oli satisfied all requirements of the party and the electoral guidelines, noting that he recorded the highest number of valid votes in the contest.
In his reaction, Barrister Oli thanked the National Working Committee NWC of the party, the National leader of the party, governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo and APGA supporters in the Constituency for ensuring his victory.
He expressed happiness emotionally, saying, “I am in the race to change the political status quo of Njikoka/Dunukofia and Anaocha Federal Constituency.
According to him, “I am touch by the confidence the people have reposed on me.
“I am touch by the love the people has showed me and I have only promised, I will never disappoint them.
“Being a grassroot politician, I will ensure that my representation brings smile to the faces of my constituents, if elected at the 2027 general elections,” Oli assured.
He commended the media for also playing a major role during his consultation that has eventually led to victory as candidate of APGA for the National Assembly race.
