Dr. Obah Edom Tawo, a leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Etung/Obubra Federal Constituency under the African Democratic Congress ADC, has announced the donation of party headquarters in both Etung Local Government Area and his home community of Bendeghe Ekiem.
In a statement made available to the public, Dr. Tawo emphasized that leadership must be demonstrated through action before electoral victory, noting that service is not a reward for winning but a justification for seeking public office. He described the newly donated ADC Constituency Headquarters in Efraya, Etung LGA, as a permanent structure designed to serve as a hub for party activities and coordination across all 21 wards in the constituency.
According to him, the initiative is aimed at strengthening grassroots political engagement and providing a functional space for party officials, stakeholders, and supporters to organize effectively. He further disclosed that an additional ADC Ward Headquarters has been donated in Bendeghe Ekiem, his hometown, as part of efforts to deepen the party’s presence at the community level.

Dr. Tawo stated that the projects are not personal achievements but collective assets intended to benefit party members, youths, women, farmers, and traders who require a visible and accessible political structure. He noted that the facilities would serve as platforms for mobilization, inclusion, and sustained political participation.
Reaffirming his commitment to the constituency, Dr. Tawo stressed that meaningful representation must begin with tangible contributions at the grassroots. He called on residents of Etung and Obubra to actively participate in the political process by registering with the ADC and supporting efforts geared toward long term development and inclusive governance.
He concluded by reiterating that the initiative reflects his broader vision of building enduring structures that will outlast the current political cycle and contribute to the future growth of the constituency.
