Soludo lauds Agbodike's representation at National Assembly

The Anambra State governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has commended the member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Pascal Agbodike over his continue projection of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA’s image at the green chamber of the National Assembly Abuja.

Soludo made the commendation while addressing the 155 successful screened aspirants contesting the party’s primaries scheduled for May 23rd, 2026 ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The governor said, Agbodike’s continues commitment and dedication as the caucus leader of the party at the green chamber has promoted APGA beyond Anambra State.

He charged the 326 ward Chairmen and other stakeholders who were also present at the meeting held at the State Government House (Light House), Awka, on Monday, to ensure fairness and transparency during the process to enable experience and popular candidates emerges.

Reacting while speaking to Journalists shortly after the meeting, Hon Pascal Agbodike, thanked the governor for the commendation, saying that the commendation will spur him to legislate more for the good of the party, Ihiala Federal Constituency, Anambra State, the south east region and Nigeria as whole.

According to him, as a minority and the caucus leader of APGA of APGA at the green chamber, I have been able to defend our dear party, defend Ihiala local government and also defended my own conscious as human being, predicated to that, I said a big thanked to the people of Ihiala Federal Constituency who came out unanimously en masse both party and non-party men/women to endorsed  my second term bid.

They also said that no one else should struggle the party ticket with me because I have done well, meaning that my representation scorecard is speaking for me, which in today’s meeting, the governor told my constituents and other APGA supporters that I have been able represent Anambra and the party interest very well at the National Assembly as the caucus leader of APGA.

“Our able leader (Prof Soludo), echo this during the meeting and the party supporters collaborated it.

“So, I am calling on the people of Ihiala local government area not to allow anyone dim the light that is currently shining in Ihiala Federal Constituency under watch.

“I have all it takes to get the good things from the federal level down to my constituency.

“I am going for second term to make the list of principal officers at the national assembly at minority leadership because of my long time legislative experience I have gathered, because of my CV as a PhD holder and good relationship I have shared with the power that be at the National Assembly. I know the road and I will deliver.

“It will be of advantage to the good people of Ihiala federal constituency to have back at the green chamber. I will never disappoint my people.

“I beacon on the 20 ward chairman of the Ihiala federal constituency to prove that they have endorsed me and they should not allow anyone to dim the light that is presently shining in Ihiala federal constituency,” Agbodike solicited.
