Ward 9 Rallies for Tinubu: Orok Duke Urges Unity and Continuity in Calabar South

Ward 9 in the Calabar South Local Government Area has held a major political gathering, with members affirming their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid through a voice vote.

The event, which drew local party faithful, featured an address by Rt. Hon. Orok Duke PhD, Commissioner representing Cross River on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Duke advocated for the continuity of the current federal administration, arguing that a second term for President Tinubu would secure ongoing federal support for Cross River.

According to him, sustained alignment with the federal government is crucial for supporting the agenda of the state governor, Apostle Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu. He noted that federal backing would help attract further developmental projects, empowerment initiatives, and strategic appointments to the region.
