Elder Effiong Ibok Ayi is a distinguished administrator, entrepreneur, and public servant with a proven track record of leadership and community development. A native of Usung Odot Okoyong in Odukpani Local Government Area, Elder Ayi represents a new breed of political leadership – one rooted in academic excellence, grassroots mobilization, and economic empowerment.

He holds a M.Sc. in Entrepreneurial Studies. He is equipped with advanced knowledge in economic management and business innovation, with a solid technical and administrative foundation.
Unlike many who seek public office to find employment, Elder Ayi is a seasoned Employer of Labour. His entrepreneurial success serves as a blueprint for the economic revitalization he intends to bring to the Calabar Municipality/Odukpani Federal Constituency if elected as member of the House of Representatives.
As Chief Executive Officer of Effitex Global Resources, Elder Ayi has steered the company to emerged as a leading name in the rubber industry within Cross River State. He currently manages a workforce of over 250 employees, providing livelihoods for hundreds of families and contributing significantly to the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
Additionally, the ADC Aspirant has navigated the corridors of power with integrity, gaining the necessary experience to navigate the legislative process effectively.
He was Special Assistant to former Governor Ben Ayade on Youth Mobilization, where he bridged the gap between the government and the youth, advocating for empowerment and inclusion.
He has also served as Special Assistant to former Vice Chairman of Odukpani on Special Duty. In this role, he gained firsthand experience in local government administration and grassroots intervention.
A proud son of Ekori/Anaku Political Ward, his deep connection to Odukpani and Calabar Municipal ensures that his representation will be people-centered and all-inclusive.
