The lingering leadership tussle within the All Progressives Congress, APC, Anambra state chapter took a new dimension following allegations from the party leadership that some security operatives are being used to sponsor the crisis in the party.
Recall that last Sunday the Hon Ifeanyi Osegbo faction of the party has gained entrance into the party Secretariat presenting the Abuja Federal High Court pronouncement which upheld their executive.
The party alleged that some operatives of Zone 13 were used last Sunday to forcefully gain entrance into the party Secretariat.

But Zone 13 has dismissed those allegations contending that the Police has no business with politics or party politics adding that the zone should not be brought into issues concerning party politics.
The allegation had stated that the Anambra Police Command had turned down the request of the Osegbo faction directing them to channel their complaints to the National Chairman of the party and the National Working Committee (NWC )of the party.
The leadership of the party also expressed their unhappiness over some over zealous security operatives who acted without recourse to their superiors urging the Senor officers and the Inspector General of Police to look into the matter .
According to one of the executive members of the party loyal to Senator Emma Anosike, Mr Bright Osemeka, the incident that occured last Sunday at the party headquarters is unbecoming of a people who claim to be loyal card carrying members of the party .
ASP Chidera Oha who is the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 13 contended that, the police and the zone has nothing to do with the politics in the party adding that the Zone should not be linked with whatever activities or issues in the party.
Oha urged members of the public to see those allegations as coming from mere hear say that has no circumstantial evidence to support the claims of faceless individuals.
