The wife of Anambra State governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo has donated relief materials to support a 13-year-old girl currently receiving treatment for advanced HIV disease at a hospital in Awka, the State capital.
According to Daniel Ezeigwe, media aide to the governor’s wife, who disclosed this in a statement in Awka, said the donation took place on Friday.
He said the donated materials, comprises of tubers of yam, bags of rice, drugs, cartons of bathing soap, cartons of noodles and cash.

He quoted the Anambra first lady as saying, “Today, a team from my NGO, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo paid a heartfelt visit to a 13-year-old girl currently receiving treatment for advanced HIV disease at a hospital in Awka.”
“As part of our commitment to supporting the most vulnerable in our communities, we also donated essential supplies to aid her nutrition and daily upkeep, along with a financial support to help her recovery journey.
“No child should face such a difficult health battle without support.
“We remain dedicated to showing up for those who need us most. Special thanks to Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA), for drawing our attention to the case.
“Together, we can build healthier, stronger communities,” Mrs Soludo concluded.
